Hi lovelies! Today, I'm sharing a post with two looks instead of sharing them separately. I did this due to the lack of time this week. These two looks were styled around a bright orange shirt and a black flared skirt. Orange and black together make a very striking combo and yet elegant. For a work-friendly look, I thought of making this combo even more elegant by pairing it with cool neutral colors such as blue and white. The blazer for sure made this look work-appropriate and the shoes, of course, complimented the entire ensemble. This outfit is a good example on how to wear a bright print to work. If you don't want to look too loud wearing a bright print to work, then pair it with neutrals...yep, it's as simple as that. For this opportunity, I wore my linen blazer instead of my wool one, because the weather is still too warm to wear a thicker fabric. You all know that I love linen and simply because it's the perfect cool fabric that gets me throughout Summer stylishly.
Now, as you will see on the photos below, I wore the same skirt and shirt for wine country, but I definitely make them look more relaxed. First thing I did to bring a casual flare to this look, was tastefully tidying up my shirt instead of wearing it tucked in. That small detail made a world of difference in this look - It made it sassy and yet chic. I also switched my tote and shoes for warm hued ones that softened up the formality of this ensemble. By the way, my yellow espadrilles were that extra pop of color that scream off-duty fun.

These wine country photos were taken at Windsor Run Cellars. This place has great wine (Justice and Guilty were my favorites) but their apple meads are outstanding. They are just perfect to drink in the coming Fall season.
