Hey lovelies! As I promised you on my previous blog post, here is another look with a Tuxedo dress. I like to call this one "Le Smoking Dress" because it reminds me of the Le Smoking Jacket that we all know about and love to wear. This dress is beyond versatile and definitely a classic piece. I can't wait to show you more outfits with it in the future. In fact, the day of this photo-shoot, I wore this dress in two different ways. It only took a few changes in order to give this dress a completely different vibe. I'll be sharing photos next week.
As you can see in this first look, I've decided to give this classic tuxedo dress a sexy approach. The readers that have known me for a long time might be a little surprised to see me show cleavage and legs at the same time. With sexy looks, I usually prefer to showcase either one, but not both at the same time. This is just my personal preference. With that being said, I feel that this black tux dress provides a touch of classiness and sophistication to the point that, it not only allowed me to show a little cleavage but I even managed to get away with wearing sexy fishnet stockings.
When we turn 40+ sometimes we try to stay away from too sexy of looks because of the fear of looking inadequate in front to others. The truth is (at least for me) that there are ways to be, feel and look sexy without showing skin. However, once in a while, it's refreshing and even liberating to spice up our looks by letting the skin do some talking.
I loved every second I wore this dress and I proudly accepted and thanked the compliments that day. After all, self confidence is the most sexy thing you can possess, and dresses like this make it easier to achieve.
WHAT I WORE:
