Hi, lovelies! I hope your week went well and your weekend goes even better. Talking about the weekend, today I'm sharing a look that could be perfect for an off-duty day or for lunch with friends.
Red, white and blue when styled together, besides broadcasting a nautical vibe, can also tend to look a bit preppy, which I really don't mind at all. As you know, I'm an emotional dresser, so there are days (like the day of this photo-shoot) that I feel like dressing preppy which is a popular look here in North Carolina.
Recently I bought this pair of vintage boots in one of my favorite colors. I love their laid-back look and yet the feminine style. So, I have to confess that I styled this look from the ground up. I found the right pieces in my wardrobe to compliment my scarlet boots.
Obviously, my boots radiate color and so does my striped shirt, therefore, I decided to balance things out by pairing them with neutral-hued pieces, such as my skirt, coat and, bag.
By the way, don't miss my next "Monday Work Outfit" because I'll show you a look styled with this fun striped shirt and my fabulous straw bag. I paired them with work-friendly pieces and very unexpected shoes. Oh...I can't wait to share the photos. I want to mention that my blog just changed its look, however, we are still working on it without having downtime. Hopefully, by the next blog post, the transformation will be completed.
