I'm so excited about my today's look because, for a long time, I've been looking for a versatile white suit that will not only make me look and feel prim and proper, but also, sexy and chic.
The suit I'm wearing today is a relaxed and lighter interpretation of a tailored and formal suit, which makes it perfect for Spring and the warmer months of the year. To me, this suit isn't only ideal for work but for an after-work party, dinner or even a date. Dressing up in a relaxed way as you can do with a white cotton suit will always feel fresh and look fresh.
Whether you wear a white suit for pleasure or for work, the sky is the limit with choices on how to style it. Today, as you can see, I decided to give my modern suit a nautical vibe. I decided to style it with classic navy stripes and vibrant red as the perfect pop of color. I accessorized it with a classic fedora for an extra masculine touch and a whicker bag to match the lightness of the suit.
The day I wore this look, I went out on a date with my husband to his favorite Italian restaurant. I felt completely fabulous wearing a suit for pleasure.
