Today's look was styled with classic garments, such as a Breton striped pullover, a city coat, and clean line pants. These three pieces by themselves look great, however, I wanted to give them an edgy look by pairing them with more contemporary/trendy pieces. As you can see, my oversized distressed denim vest (a mouth full, huh?) and my slick ankle boots were the game-changing pieces in this look. My ensemble not only looked classic but also fun and fashion-forward.
Apparently, red is the color that I use more often to spice up my outfits. Since I was a little girl, red was one of my favorite colors to wear with my staple hues such as black, white and blue. I'm 46 years old now and my love for red hasn't changed much. I still love to combine those colors together in order to create fun looks.
By the way, the pants in this outfit come with a blazer that I recently wore for a "Monday Work Outfit", but I've also worn both pieces together. Owning a pantsuit or skirt suit is always a clever idea!! We really get our money's worth because we can wear the suit together in many different ways and we can wear the pieces separately as well.
WHAT I WORE:
Pullover: Armor Lux/Vest: Vintage/Coat: Vintage/Pants: Tahari ASL/Boots: River Island/Sunglasses: Ray-Ban- 62mm/Earrings: Argento Vivo/Bag: Coach (vintage).
THANKS FOR VISITING! 💋
