No wardrobe is complete without having an olive green garment. This shade of green is almost as versatile as black or navy. In my small wardrobe, this shade of green is considered a neutral, therefore, it's critical for me to own superior quality pieces made of this color.
Today, for a weekend-friendly look, I styled my olive wide leg pants with a similar vibe garment such as my camouflage silk blouse (see more looks with this blouse here, here and here). I'm a fan of the military-inspired style, so formulating this ensemble was extremely easy and very fun. In fact, my next "Monday Work Outfit" was tailored around the same pants and blouse but with very few changes that will transform this look from being easy and laid back to an office-suitable and polished look. You will even see a fun and yet inconspicuous mix of patterns, so stay tuned.
I'm very thrilled how my black hats and black sunglasses and even my earrings stand out better now that I have lighter hair color and shorter hair. I believe I'll continue to ask my hairdresser to apply lighter highlights on my hair. I like the fact that this new hair color served almost like a face-lift without going under the blade; I feel like it softens up my features.
