I'm excited about sharing my outfits with animal printed tops because, besides loving prints in general, animal prints are the ones that add a wild and yet warm factor to my ensembles. I like to keep my wardrobe relatively small, however, I feel like one animal print top isn't enough for me. I need at least a couple with neutral colors and a couple more with brighter hues. I wear my animal printed tops very often, therefore, it's important for me to have a backup piece of each.
Some of the tops that you are going to see here are already retired due to their noticeable signs of wear, however, I had no problem replacing them quickly with similar color combos and prints.
The reason why I like to have animal printed tops with colorful hues is not only to bring spice to neutral colored garments but also for complementing similar vibrant colors.
In my opinion, a leopard printed top is a must-have. This print is eternal and its versatility is unbeatable mainly when the print is comprised of neutral colors.
If you don't care much for buttoned down simple blouses, then you can always try a pussy-bow top. I personally love the look of a ladylike top made with a wild print.
If you are like me and love mixing patterns, then an animal printed top can be a game-changing piece in your wardrobe. The possibilities of mixing other patterns with an animal print are endless.
Snake prints are as versatile as leopard, in fact, sometimes they can look a tad more classy, therefore, appropriate for the office.
A cool colored animal print such as the blouse in the photo above and below can be worn as you would a solid one. My leopard printed garments are often my foundational pieces and simply because finding supportive garments is a very easy task. Almost everything in our wardrobes can be worn with this print, ...we just have to use our creativity in order to connect all the pieces together.
In the outfit below, I decided to play with colorful shoes and an animal print that would match them.
This is a good example how you can you mix and match a leopard print with a totally opposite pattern and yet never look crazy because both prints were connected by neutral colored garments and accessories.
You can't go wrong pairing animal prints with denim. This combo is always the right choice when you want to wear an easy look but without compromising chicness.
