Improvising is one virtue that I'm getting better at! If you watch my Instastories, you will remember this outfit and this road trip to North Carolina wine country. The weather was phenomenal, therefore, we opened our Jeep and headed out for a beautiful drive through Yadkin Valley then to Round Peak Vineyard. It's been a while since I've done a Wine Country photo shoot (see my series here), in fact, the last one was this past November so I was very excited to do the first one for this year.
We arrived early to our destination and after we enjoyed some good wine, we decided to do our photo shoot. By the time we found the right spot to take our photos, I realized that I totally forgot to put the battery in my Nikon 😁...oh well, not the end of the world, right?
We just could try another time or simply improvise by taking photos with our iPhones. We chose to give it the world and make the best of what we had on hand.
WHAT I WORE:
Dress: Anthropologie/Espadrilles: Castañer/Belt: Ralph Lauren/Basket bag: UO/Sunglasses: Vintage/Earrings: Chanel.
In some of the photos, we used our iPhone 7 plus portrait feature and on the others, we use the live setting. The day was so beautiful and sunshiny, so I was more than willing to edit any lighting issues later, if it was necessary, in order to capture this wonderful day.
Later in the evening, right around sunset, we decided to stop by one of our favorite country restaurants in that area. We even took pictures there despite that we were losing precious daylight. I actually love the photos taken at this time of the day, because they have less shadows and they look more romantic.
THANKS FOR VISITING! 😎
