And just when the weather started turning warmer, we got hit by another cold front here in North Carolina. This is how the weather keeps teasing us, however, I'm perfectly fine with this because I get to enjoy my warm coats for a few more days. And talking about warm, I never knew how helpful a furry collar could be until the day of this photoshoot. I mean, the furry collar concept, to me, was used as more of a styling purpose than for functionality. But this past Tuesday morning I changed my mind when I actually pulled my collar up to stop the cold wind from blowing on my neck.
This coat is a recent vintage find that I was dying to show you. As you know, I'm into prints and plaid is not the exception, so this coat was right up my alley. By the way, I just happened to see the latest Marc Jacobs Fall 2017 and noticed a couple coats similar to this one. For what I've been seeing in fashion week, furry collars are going to have a huge moment in 2017 Fall and Winter. Lucky for me that I found this one at a great price.
WHAT I WORE:
Coat: Vintage/Jeans: J. Brand/Shirt: Equipment/Sunglasses: Vintage/Earrings: Michael Kors/Bag: Coach (vintage)/Shoes: Christian Louboutin.
THANKS FOR VISITING! 😉
I so love this idea of placing patches that relate to facts about you!! I have been thinking about making a jacket with patches but never knew where to begin. I am so glad that I ran across your blog. You did an excellent job!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ericka!!! I'm glad this post inspired you to start doing your own project. This is so much fun. I'm still adding more meaningful patches to my jacket.
