It doesn't surprise me how popular customized denim has become these days. Thankfully, denim is a very easy fabric to alter. There are so many ways that you can make a denim garment unique or join certain denim trends by doing it all at home.
For example, the jacket and the jeans that I'm wearing for this blog post have been customized by me. As many of you have seen before, the jacket was a fun project that I did a while back with vintage and personal meaningful patches. The jeans have been customized twice in order to keep them up to date. When I bought them they were longer so I folded the hem every time I wore them. Several months later, I customized the bottom in order to achieve a frayed and cropped hem. This week, I reworked them again, by cropping the hem even more, but this time I only chopped the front part. As you probably know, the uneven look of a jeans hem has been trending for a while, so I finally decided to give it a try.
