The Game Changer

I always shop on a budget, therefore, I have to be very choosy when acquiring any piece regardless of its style. My wardrobe is small compared with most fashionistas I know, however, every garment in there can be styled with the rest of my wardrobe. But this doesn't happen out of coincidence or luck; it happens because every time I shop, I try my best to remember what is in my wardrobe, therefore, I can buy exactly what I need.
This Fall, I made a decision to buy one trendy item that would completely change the look of most of my outfits. A game changer item that will bring up-to-date or add a modern touch to all my classic and vintage garments. You probably know exactly what I'm talking about, yes!! I'm talking about my platform ankle boots.
I can't say enough great things about these boots because they are simply amazing. Besides adding a daring and fresh touch to my wardrobe, they have become my favorite walking boots. The thick platform makes these boots so comfortable, almost crazy comfortable. If you follow my Instastories, you know exactly what I'm talking about. This goes to show you that when choosing carefully, even trendy pieces can become a great investment for our wardrobes.

Everyone needs a piece in their wardrobe that makes everything else look new and current. This is a simple and affordable way to update your wardrobe. For example, last Christmas my husband gave me a bag that I wanted really bad - a white bucket bag. This bag changed completely the way my outfits looked for the entire year and it continues adding a fresh touch to my ensembles.

As you can see, this is a neutral outfit, topped with a neutral colored coat, which by the way, due to its warm hue, worked as a subtle pop-of-color.
