One of the things I love about having an organized wardrobe is that I can become creative in a blink of an eye. Toward the beginning of the Fall season, I bring all the cold weather garments to the front of my wardrobe in order to keep them more visible. This is my easy way to make sure that everything in my wardrobe gets enough wear.
This month, I started wearing this year's new purchases with my older cold weather garments, including accessories. In this outfit, the new garment is my camo shirt, which I purchased this past summer. I know this particular pattern mix isn't usual, however, it can successfully be done if we style them strategically. Large plaid prints can sometimes be overwhelming, however, still doable with other prints.
WHAT I WORE:
Camouflage shirt: Equipment. Similar/Cashmere cardigan: Valentino (vintage). Similar/Plaid Skirt: Vintage: Similar/Studded belt: Target. Similar/Wayfarer sunglasses: Ray-Ban for B&L (80's). Similar/Tassel bag: Valentino. Similar/Platform boots: Kurt Geiger.
Despite wearing pieces from a completely opposite style, I believe they are still in harmony with each other. There are lots of details involved, and yet the outfit doesn't look too busy.
These boots are also a purchase from this year and have become my favorite accessory. They are exactly the trendy and funky touch that my wardrobe needed. They make classic pieces look more daring and up-to-date and not to mention, they are extremely comfortable.
THANKS FOR VISITING!!
