The platform boot is a trend that I did not see coming and I guess it's because I've seen so many dainty shoes trending these days. I was more than happy to see the return of this cool boot because I never got rid of my old pair; in fact, I never stopped wearing them. The boots I'm wearing today are a bit different than my old ones. These boots are retro-inspired and they seem to be a combination of 70's and 90's Rock band style (Kiss meets Spice Girls). I like the fact that they can add a badass touch to any sweet look. The tapered ankle fit is one of my favorite features because they look just right with flared skirts and wide leg pants. I wore these babies for lunch and shopping with my husband and I must tell you, despite the high heel, they are pretty darn comfortable due to the platform.
In this opportunity, I paired them with a metallic shirt in order to give a Rock & Roll touch to a ladylike skirt.
