How To Elevate A Basic Blazer

The belted blazer is a trend that I'm loving, not only because it helps to elevate a plain blazer, but also because it's a perfect transitional idea from Winter to Spring or from late Summer to Fall. Belting a blazer is a simple way to add the unexpected and stray away from the business-blazer stigma.

I could have worn any of my simple leather belts with this blazer but, my intention wasn't only change the look of my blazer, it was also bring some bling-bling to my entire ensemble. My navy jeweled belt seemed to be the best in my wardrobe for this task. I also wore a pair of green stones earrings and a snake bracelet with sapphire eyes, which complimented nicely my belt.
