They say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," right? But when I place a pair of sweet sunglasses between my eyes and the rest of the world, everything looks beautiful to me.
Several people have had asked me about my obsession with sunglasses and I guess it's because I don't have many blog posts without wearing them. There are three fashion-related items in this world that I would have a hard time living without and they are my sunglasses, heels (mainly pumps) and hats. They're all part of my style and, besides enhancing my ensembles, they are also a necessity from time to time. For a bad hair day, I reach for a hat; when I wake up feeling short (from inside and out), I wear my heels for a boost of confidence and, to prevent migraines triggered by the sun or bright lights, I wear my sunglasses. Obviously today, I needed all three.
Today, I'm wearing my newest pair of sunglasses, which are very similar to the famous Ray-Ban Clubmaster, but with a slight cat-eye twist. I always wanted a pair of Clubmaster sunglasses, but unfortunately, they aren't exactly flattering on me. If you noticed all the sunglasses I wear either, cat-eye, round or classic aviator. And why is that? Simply because those shapes are more flattering on those with a jawline like mine. I was really tickled with the idea of finding a pair of sunglasses with a Clubmaster look but actually flattering on my face. Thank you, Tom Ford for creating Fany; the sunglasses that aren't only flattering to gals of all face shapes, but they especially make the members of the Sponge Bob Square-Faced Club happy! I don't know about you, but to me, Fany is "the real club master"
