Mix and Match With a Fun Print

Fall is the perfect season to mix and match all the goodies in our wardrobe, and that's exactly what makes Autumn the favorite season for most fashionistas, including myself. I've said many times in this blog that I love matchy matchy combinations, however I also love mixing fun fabrics, colors and prints. In this opportunity I decided to dress around a beautifully printed bow blouse by Coldwater Creek. Dressing around a colorful print can be very fun, because it's easy to find other pieces in our wardrobe to pair it with. 

After trying this blouse with different jackets in my wardrobe and loving every look, it took me a little while to decide which one I was going to wear first. Neutral colored jackets made the blouse stand out, but the bright colored ones made a perfect harmony with the print of this blouse. To make the story short, I finally opted to wear my bow blouse with my rust colored velvet blazer, which beside making the print stand out, also made the blouse look even more suitable for the autumn season.

Deciding what to wear for the bottom part of my look was also fun. Since I already started playing with different fabric textures on the top, adding a coated shiny pair of jeans and patent shoes seemed to be a great idea and, of course, very me.

El otoño es la temporada perfecta para mezclar y combinar todas las prendas en nuestro armario, y eso es exactamente lo que hace del otoño la estación preferida para la mayoría de amantes de la moda, incluyéndome a mi. Lo he dicho muchas veces en este blog que me encantan las combinaciones matchy matchy, sin embargo también me encanta la mezcla de telas, colores y estampada. En esta oportunidad me decidí vestirme alrededor de una blusa estampada con chongo de la marca Coldwater Creek. Vestirse alrededor de estampados de colores puede ser muy divertido, porque al menos a mi, se me hace fácil encontrar otras piezas en mi armario para combinarlos.
Después de probarme esta blusa con diferentes chaquetas de mi armario y por cierto me gustó come se veía con todas, me tomó un poco de tiempo decidir cuál me iba a poner primero. Las chaquetas de colores neutros hacían destacar el estampado de la blusa, pero los colores brillantes hacían una armonía perfecta con sus colores. Para no alargar esta historia, finalmente opté por ponerme una chaqueta aterciopelada de color óxido, que ademas de exaltar los colores de la blusa, también la hizo aún más adecuada para la temporada de otoño. Decidir qué ponerme en la parte inferior de mi look fue también muy divertido. Puesto que ya tenía dos texturas diferentes en la parte superior, añadiendo un par de jeans encerados y zapatos de charol, me pareció ser una gran idea y, por supuesto, una combinación muy personal.

If you are not a fan of bows, but you love prints like in this blouse, well, let me tell you that this blouse has a removable bow that you can style like a tie, scarf or simply remove it and wear it without it. I personally wore it like a tie at the end of the day to go for some drinks with friends.

Si tu no eres partidaria de los chongos, pero te encantan los estampados divertidos como el de esta blusa, te diré que a esta blusita se le puede remover el chongo. Puedes convertir el chongo como una corbata, bufanda o te la puedes poner simplemente sin el chongo.
