After reading The Man Repeller's post "How to wear ballet flats without looking basic" and some of the interesting and heated comments, I decided to give my leopard ballet flats another chance. However, instead of wearing a striped sexy blouse like she did, I wore this regular striped t-shirt and black boyfriend blazer and I let my legs do the sexy talk…lol. Did I look basic? Who knows, however, I enjoyed my outfit.

Thanks Malena! I actually bought 'em 2 size larger, so I could wear them low in my hips and legs. I can't do the Daisy Duke length anymore…lol.
DeleteSO in love with this look -- how can you not fall in love with leopard print shoes?!

I love leopard! Ballet flats are more fun with this print and maybe less basic.
DeleteYou got it!! I bought a couple pairs thinking I could wear them for long walks, but I always end up wearing my brogues, loafers or flat sandals. Even my boyfriend think they are boring shoes, but I will continue challenging myself and I'll see what else I can come up with. Thanks Marlen! I'm glad you liked it.
