What better way for fighting the cold weather blues than wearing a bright colored piece with some neutrals. I personally love the power of yellow, however, I don't have to wear yellow from head to toe (big bird) to get the cheer-me-up benefits. A few pieces of this color usually seems to be enough to make a statement and brighten my day.
How about you? Do you like to wear yellow?
If you are new to my blog, this is a picture of how I wore this quilted sweatshirt the first time. I added accessories with some yellow in it, but I also added teal color for a strong contrast and a color-block look. I chose black as my neutral to tone down this amped look.

I adore yellow accents, and agree that one does not have to wear it head to toe, the combination with leopard print gives it a fabulous edge, as usual, your outfit speaks of great style!

Hi, Carelia, I love your outfit today, absolutely beautiful, I like your vibe and your Hollywood smile! I only think that black knit hat looks kinda odd on you in this look. I see totally as a very chic woman, and from that perspective I am not getting the hat. Zhanna from www.stylehenge.com
ReplyDeleteThat yellow top is gorgeous, I love the embroidery and how you styled it so differently each time.

DeleteYellow is the one colour that I tend not to wear but I do love the way you wear it. It looks really sharp here, against a fresh white-and-black palette.
ReplyDeleteI've been liking yellow too. It makes a great accent to so many neutrals. this is a really cool top that looks good with whites and your blue pants as well. Great coat, will look good with many outfits. I'm wearing a similar one, but in dark tones, in a post soon. Beautiful pictures!
