Violent Femmes

If you are old enough like me and you listened to alternative rock in the 80's, you will probably remember an American band from Milwaukee named Violent Femmes and their album with the same name. The cover of the album is a picture of an adorable little girl  in barefoot (remind me of me when I was little growing up at the coast of Honduras) snooping through a window of an old abandoned house. Well, my boyfriend felt inspired by that picture and this is how he came up with the fashionista and lady-like version of it...lol.
Anyway, this is my preppy outfit from last Wednesday with my midi skirt, which I layered it with an old denim jacket to add a roughed and casual touch.

Si tu escuchasteis la musica alternativa rock y tienes y estabas joven en los 80s, entonces te recordaras de la banda Americana de Milwaukee llamada Violent Femmes y del álbum con su mismo nombre. En la cubierta del álbum hay una niñita descalza (me recuerda de mi niñez en la costa de Honduras) mirando hacia a través de una ventana de una casa vieja y abandonada. Bueno, mi novio se sintió inspirado por la foto y así se le ocurrió una versión fashionista...lol.
De todas formas, este es mi look feminino del pasado Miercoles con mi falda midi, el cual le agregué una chaqueta vieja vaquera para darle un toque rústico e informal.
