Everybody is talking about tomorrow's Eclipse, in fact, people are debating whether we should or not wear protective glasses while viewing this Mother Nature's phenomenon.
I, on the other hand, was thinking more about fashion and what to wear that day. I mean, what can we possibly wear to celebrate an incredible event like this? To many, unfortunately, it's going to be like any other day and maybe because they won't have the chance to observe the eclipse. However, that doesn't have to be a letdown, you still can kick it up a notch with your Monday's outfit.
Well, this first thing that crossed my mind wearing this Monday was shiny things, yes, something shiny enough to compensate for the sunshine 😉 that some of us are going to lose for a small moment. However, considering this look being work-appropriate, I limited myself by wearing the shine only in my accessories.
In my book, patterns always play an important role mainly when I want to step up putting together an interesting outfit. Therefore, don't be surprised by the fact that in this outfit the fun didn't stop by adding metallic accessories; a mix of patterns was necessary in order to please my playful drive. Which by the way, I'm loving my new printed shift dress. It has a perfect 1960's vibe and looks like it's going to get a good amount of wear since navy and white happen to be one of my favorite color combos.
I'm totally convinced that this look is perfect to cheer up ourselves on a Monday and, because of its metallic touches, it's also glamorous enough for the after work cocktail with friends.
