Saint Patrick's Day is around the corner! Choosing a stylish outfit to wear on that day can sometimes be a tad tricky. Whether you are headed to a parade or a bar, it's important to be comfortable, however, you also want to give a subtle nod to the holiday by wearing touches of green. I personally love all shades of green, therefore, finding the appropriate pieces in my wardrobe for that day is an easy task.
If you don't have much green in your wardrobe and want to purchase something to wear for this celebration, consider acquiring an item that you would wear all year round with the rest of your clothes. If you are like me, you don't want to spend your money on something you will wear just one time.
For St. Patrick's day, I've seen people wearing green from head-to-toe and there's nothing wrong with that; to each her own. However, with time, I've learned that for celebrations like this, less is more. For example, you can try buying a nice green scarf to wrap around your neck, head, wrist or even on your purse handle. Later in the year, you will be able to wear it other colorful or neutral garments. How about a preppy belt like the one in my look? A belt like this can be so versatile and a fun piece for any wardrobe. Whichever accessory or garment you choose to wear to represent that particular holiday party, try to make it the foundation of your look; then find the right garments to style around it.
As you see, I also wore a pair of green sneakers and simply because they look great with my belt. Two green pieces to me are enough to make a statement and let the world know that I'm all about the St. Patrick's day celebration. And because I steered away from a costumey look, I don't have any problem wearing this exact look on another occasion without being related to Saint Patrick's Day.
THANKS FOR VISITING! 😉
