No Heels Vacation

Many times, I had the thought in my mind of leaving heels at home when going for a relaxing vacation. This past Easter week we decided to go for a few days to Savannah/Tybee Island in GA and also to Charleston, SC. This time I took only one pair (yes, I still could not commit to the "no heels vacation") of heels just in case we wanted to have a nice formal evening. However, that didn't happen since we walked all day everyday and by the end of every day, we wanted to just have a casual dinner with a cold refreshing beer. So I was pretty much convinced that I don't need heels when going at least for a few days vacation, mainly when going to the coast or a relaxed destination. Of course, I will not forget to mention that my significant other was so proud of me and happy to know that he was not going to do frequent stops in order to rest my feet from walking with pretty heels, however, unrealistic for long walks. I even jumped around all week with my happy feet.

 Esta semana Santa decidimos irnos por un viaje a la zona de Savannah/Isla de Tybee en Georgia y también a Charleston en Carolina del Sur. Pero esta vez decidí solo llevar un par de zapatos de tacón alto en caso de que quisiéramos ir por una cena formal durante las vacaciones. Después de caminar todos los días ya al final de la tarde solo queríamos tomarnos una cerveza fría y comer en cualquier lugar informal, por eso ni necesité mis tacones en toda la semana. Por eso ya estoy casi convencida que a veces los tacones no son necesarios cuando una se va a vacaciones relajantes o a la costa del país.

Ademas, mi adorado tormento estaba muy orgulloso de mi que no use zapatos altos y también muy alegre porque el no tuvo que hacer paradas frecuentes para que yo pudiera descansar mis pies de caminar con zapatos bonitos pero no apropiados para largas caminadas. Hasta me la pase brincando toda la semana... ja ja ja
