I don't know if you agree, but at least for me, a blue chambray shirt is an important piece in a wardrobe as is a white canvas for a painter. It is a basic piece that we can dress up or down and also accessorize the way our imagination please. I have several pieces myself and I use and abuse them as much as my white or black tee-shirts. These days this fabric is so popular mainly in shirts, however, I will not stop wearing mine even when this trend (classic to me) become a passe.
Anyway, we went to visit Raleigh and Chapel Hill this week and I decided to wear my newest chambray, which I found it on sale at my local Anthropologie store. The shirt kept me pretty cool in a 90 degrees super humid day (my hair can't lie).

After almost a 2 hour drive, eating, walking etc..some wrinkling can be obvious in chambray fabric, but it is not so bad considering it is 100% cotton.
